Pamela’s of Pittsburgh is phenomenal…!

Pamela's is a funky fifties diner style restaurant with the best breakfast in town!

If you are going to Pittsburgh…and if you like breakfast…who doesn’t…you absolutely positively must go to Pamela’s. The best location is in the Strip district…on Saturday morning…before you hit the streets for their fun and crazy farmer’s market. See that table by the door? That is where we sat. The couple next to us suggested we get a side of corned beef hash no matter what else we had. They almost dug into ours!

Yes, I take photos of my food…I never play with it…but photos…yes.

Their famous crepe-style hotcakes...these are banana, walnut...OMG!!!

Their hand-made hash browns are definitely to die for...!

I hope you weren’t hungry when you started reading this…OOPS!

Obama has eaten here, but I won’t hold that against them. He loved it so much he invited them to the White House to cook…

You would think the President ate here or something...

This place is always crowded, but it is such a friendly atmosphere you don’t mind…and they really try to seat everyone as fast as possible.

Always crowded, but it is part of the charm...

Whatever you do, don’t miss this place if you are in Pittsburgh…but let’s make it our little secret. Don’t tell everyone or we won’t get a seat!

Happy Hotcake inhaling…!
