Need to get wet and maybe a little wild…?

How about a trip to Waterford Oaks Water Park…OR Red Oaks Water Park? YES, there are two in Oakland County, Michigan…

Great places to get wet!

Check their website for times and charges…and yes, you can go there even if you don’t live in Oakland County!

Here is the website for both parks… www.destinationoakland.com/parksandtrails/waterparks

Get as wet as you want in the wave pool…play in the main pool with giant tipping bucket (you will be soaked, tie your suit on tight!)…gently float around in a tube…or ride a large group tube down a twisting slide. Or, just bring a picnic, stay dry, bring hotdogs to fry and chill out. There are grills and tables (first come first served) and some concessions.

Ragin’ Rapids, is a group raft ride which starts three stories high; carries riders 515 feet through drops, swirls and twirls and ends in a three-foot deep splash-down pool.

The regular pool is heated to 78 degrees, so no worry about catching cold, even on a cooler day…is there such a thing this summer?

All tubes and chairs are provided with entry fee on a first come, first served basis.

There are group rates for parties…any kind of party with family or friends or whoever.

If you live in Oakland County bring your ID because residents receive discounted rates. Discounts are also available for senior citizens, twilight (after 4pm), and groups of 20 or more with reservations.

The park is located at 1702 Scott Lake Road…1702 Scott Lake Road
Waterford, MI  (Between Dixie Highway and Watkins Lake Road).

So come on…you bet…let’s…get…wet!
